Hartest, Bury St Edmunds

This project was set in the middle of the village of Hartest in Suffolk. We designed this kitchen, alongside our clients, which included a walk in scullery, which our clients chose to have their oven located in, to keep the minimal, flowing lines of the main kitchen. We used birch plywood for the substrate, and pressed one of the NTM laminates by Fenix, onto the ply, for maximum stability and durability. The island was crafted from White Oak, and we used a deep graining technique to create a smooth, driftwood style texture, which was then lacquered to seal it for hygiene and longevity. We made matching breakfast bar with Pocket doors, LED lighting, and fully integrated fridge freezer. All of the drawers had bespoke inserts made, to keep everything in order. A beautiful space in a style that is slowly but surely becoming popular in the Suffolk area.
