Riverside cottage, Pin Mill

This refined, minimal kitchen was another project we undertook, alongside designer Sophie Mills, on the banks of river Orwell in Suffolk. We used oak extensively throughout the project, in both raw and dark finishes, which brought both contrast but also continuity with the oak flooring throughout. What made this project truly unique, was how the sink and shelving area of the kitchen, spanned into a lower alcove section of the property, giving vast storage, without feeling like it encroached  on the main room. Full height oak cabinetry, tied with the oak mezzanine balustrades, to create a unique reading snug above.
